Holy ****. It felt like a slow, inevitable slide straight into Handmaid’s Tale with the world watching dumbstruck on the sidelines.
But not anymore! People are waking up and getting excited. Harris’s social media team is so good. So ****ing good. Just absolute chef’s kiss. 🤌🏻
I mean, there’s amazing material to work with from stump speeches and events to the absolute horror comedy show that is the opposing team. They are ridiculous creeps, and FINALLY our candidate and her VP are saying it.
Nationwide abortion ban
Tracking women’s periods
Banning books (always a good look)
“Fixing it so you won’t have to vote again”
All that and the vast majority of everything else they are proposing is just bananas. BANANAS. 🍌🍌🍌🍌
No one likes it. Well, no, some people like it. Mother****ers who want up in your womb, your head, and your bed. Creeps like it.
I am so happy to see this narrative finally coming to the fore.
I’ve been saying this for decades. Literally. I started writing my Sydney Rye Mysteries in 2005. I have been disgusted by these Jesus exploiting, greedy, hypocritical whackjobs with flag fetishes for as long as I’ve understood they existed. So, I don’t know—when did you realize creepy men who like to touch things people don’t want touched existed?
For most women it’s pretty ****ing young. And if we’re lucky, even before we see them for ourselves, our mother’s warn us about them.
Yet, there is this insane cognizant dissonance because those mother****ers are in positions of power. So many of them have power. From the church to the legislature they are in charge. And that is 🍌🍌. WHY have we been letting these guys run anything let alone our ****ing country?
So I am overjoyed to see a Presidential candidate say the quiet part out loud.
Their ideas are terrible. They are not good at being in charge. We need to take it from here. We tried to gentle parent their asses into evolution, but it didn’t work. So it’s time to knock down the ****ing door.
I am psyched. This is the feeling I write the Sydney Rye Mysteries to get. This feeling of we can ****ing win this thing. It won’t be easy, but when we fight, we win.
