Telling me if I made Sydney Rye more "likable" she'd be a great character rather than just good.
Which I found highly amusing because what makes Sydney Rye a great character is that she is NOT likable. She’s not a woman who follows the rules about how she is supposed to act…and so a lot of people don’t like her. It’s kind of the point of the entire series…
Women, we need to STOP being likable. It’s not a worthy goal.
Because it will FAIL every time.
𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬 👏 𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗟𝗘 👏 𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗘 👏.
No one and I mean 𝗡𝗢 𝗢𝗡𝗘, is liked by everyone. So if you are attempting to be likable, dog help you. You are effed 😂.
Sydney Rye is a vengeful, rage-filled, dangerous woman with a terrible attitude and a f*** ton of flaws. She’s awesome. And I love her.
And by the way, I don’t control her at all.
