Some people think Iโve been brainwashed into my beliefsโtricked into my thirst for equity and justice.
If thatโs true, if I fell for a lie that racism, sexism, and homophobia are realโIโm okay with that.
Fighting for MORE equity wonโt lead to inequity. Fighting against laws that limit protections wonโt make people less safe. No amount of gay wedding cakes will kill anyone, but agreeing to be a country that legally discriminates against gay people will.
Maybe I am brainwashed. Maybe QAnon believers are right and I am a Sheeple. But I would rather be on my side of the fight no matter how I got here. Because fighting for the underdog is usually a good call. And blaming lizard Jews for the worldโs problems is never a good look.
