Telling me if I made Sydney Rye more “likable” she’d be a great character rather than just “good”. Which I found highly amusing because what makes Sydney Rye a great character is that she’s not likable.
She’s not a woman who follows the rules about how she is supposed to act…and so a lot of people don’t like her.
It’s half the point of the entire series… women, we need to stop being likable.
It’s not a worthy goal. Because it will fail every time.
EVERY 👏 SINGLE 👏 TIME 👏.
No one, and I mean no one, is liked by everyone.
So if you are attempting to be likable, God help you. You are effed. 😂
Sydney Rye is a vengeful, rage-filled, dangerous woman. She’s awesome. And I love her. And by the way, I don’t control her at all.
Can you imagine me being like…Sydney, we’ve got some feedback you need to be more likable 😂. Can you imagine?!?
