On one of my posts telling me if I made Sydney Rye more "likable" she'd be a great character rather than just good.
Which I found highly amusing because what makes Sydney Rye a great character is that she is NOT likable. She’s not a woman who follows the rules about how she is supposed to act…and so a lot of people don’t like her. It’s kind of the point of the entire series…
Women, we need to STOP being likable. It’s not a worthy goal.
Because it will FAIL every time.
EVERY 👏🏻 SINGLE 👏🏻 TIME
No one and I mean 𝗡𝗢 𝗢𝗡𝗘, is liked by everyone. So if you are attempting to be likable, god help you. You are effed 😂.
Sydney Rye is a vengeful, rage-filled, dangerous woman with a terrible attitude and a f*** ton of flaws. She’s awesome. And I love her.
And by the way, I don’t control her at all.
Can you imagine me being like…𝘚𝘺𝘥𝘯𝘦𝘺, 𝘸𝘦’𝘷𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘵 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 😂.
